Reviews

This is a very nice book with abundant illustrations of paintings in the Uffizi, Pitti, Accademia, and Bargello museums. It is an exact copy of the larger-format and more expensive book published in the 1990s by Bulfinch. Even the layouts of many pages are identical. If you don't have the Bulfinch book, this is a good one to get. I rate it four stars only because I have the earlier book and was hoping for something new; if you don't have the earlier book, this is worth five stars.
