Reviews
A very large volume on James Tissot from FAMSF, an artist probably not so well known "across the pond." It covers his whole career; the catalogue of plates is organized by subject. The only questionable aspect is the color of the plates. I compared them to other books I have on James Tissot. Some were better, some were worse. Overall, they are generally good, but too dark, obscuring details. In sum, a very good book on James Tissot, which would be great if the color was reproduced better.
